Torcetti are the classic product of the baker that in Italy was transformed into a pastry shop during the 19th century, so much so that it became appreciated by the royal family of Savoy, king of Italy.
Today they are considered by all piedmontes cookies.
Over time, every village, every city, has developed a version of this biscuit, but they all have the same simple ingredients: flour, butter, sugar, salt, conjugated in different ways to arrive at a different result.
