Pizzellas are traditional sweets from Abruzzo and Molise and are also called ferratelle, neole, cancellate.
At home they are processed with a special metal tool consisting of two iron or cast iron plates also decorated, in which the sweet pastry is inserted and then placed on the fire or gas.
Ferratelle are proposed in the soft or hard version, and the result depends on the ingredients used and the distance between the two parts of the iron used to cook them.
