Pinza triestina


The Trieste pinza is a sweet bread that was prepared for Easter but today it is available all year round. Its softness and fragrance are characteristic, to be served with chocolate or hazelnut spreads, but also with cream and vanilla sauces.
Pinza is a sweet leavened cake widespread in the Trieste and Gorizia area; it is based on simple ingredients such as eggs, flour, butter and sugar and natural flavors. It is a traditional dessert that was prepared at home despite the laboriousness in the preparation.
