Canestrelli Biella are biscuits similar to wafers, but differ in the wafers present and in the taste of the filling.
In the Biella canestrelli there are two waffles, more crunchy than the wafer, and contain chocolate (not chocolate cream), usually dark chocolate, but there are variants of milk or hazelnut, depending on the recipe.
Not to be confused with Ligurian canestrelli.
