The Italian regions preserve an incredible heritage of preparations.
Each region is characterized by a different use of raw materials, with the result of tasty and pleasant traditional sweets.
As already mentioned, there are some regions that have had strong contacts with other nations, and this has positively contaminated the products.
There are others that have preserved the original preparations, following the traditions for the oldest preparations.
In some cases, traditional recipes have been modernized with newer ingredients, or more favorable to people.
